Los Angeles Trade Technical College is located in the South Park section of downtown right along the Metro Blue Line and the future Exposition Line. Thanks to funds from the Sustainable Building Program, new construction and modernization of existing facilities are moving full steam ahead. Construction progress continues on the South Campus project, which will include two, five-story classroom buildings and a new parking garage that features a rooftop track and athletic field with synthetic turf. Additionally, major construction for the new Child Development Center was completed in 2008, and final completion is expected by the end of 2009.
The massive Trade Technical College South Campus project will dramatically change the landscape of downtown Los Angeles' south region. The project includes two, five-story classroom buildings, underground parking and a new athletic field. Completion is expected by this fall.
